Stormwater Essentials is a San Diego, CA based engineering consulting firm owned and operated by the founder and principal, Kelly Coaty.  Ms. Coaty has provided professional services to numerous private companies and public agencies during her career. Kelly is a groundwater and hydrology specialist who advises on permit requirements and environmental clearance, interfaces with regulatory agencies, and monitors conditional use permit compliance. Kelly currently holds certifications as a Qualified SWPPP Developer/Practitioner (QSD/QSP); Qualified Industrial Stormwater Practitioner (QISP); Certified Professional in Sediment and Erosion Control (CPESC); and Engineer in Training (EIT).
